Causes

• Burning fossil fuels.

  The massive use of fossil fuels is obviously the first source of global warming, as burning coal, oil and gas produces carbon dioxide - the most important greenhouse gas in the atmosphere-as well as nitrous oxide.

• Deforestation & Tree-Clearing

  Plants and trees play an important role in regulating the climate because they absorb carbon dioxide from the air and release oxygen back into it.So,Cutting trees is increasing amount of CO2 of atmosphere.

• Agriculture & Farming

  Animals,particularly livestock like sheep and cattle, produce methane,a greenhouse gas.

• Garbage

  As trash breaks down in landfills, it releases methane and nitrous oxide gases.

• Volcanic Eruption

  Volcanoes expel large quantities of carbon dioxide when they erupt. Volcanoes have an overall small effect on global warming.

• Permafrost

  The melting of permafrost releases tons of trapped green house gases which further speeds up the melting of more permafrost.

• Transportation

  Burning fossil fuels like gasoline and diesel releases carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere.

  Increased ocean temperatures are melting glaciers and ice caps all over the world. Melted ice increases the volume of water in our oceans. Warmer temperatures also result in the expansion of the water's mass, which causes sea levels to rise, threatening low-lying islands and coastal cities.

• More allergies and other health risks.

  Increasingly severe and frequent heat waves may lead to death and illness, especially among the elderly. Higher temperatures and humidity could also produce more mosquito-borne disease.

• Water quality could suffer and Water shortage.

  Reduced rainfall and increasingly severe droughts may lead to water shortages.

• Hurricanes Will Become Stronger and More Intense.

• Reducing the amount of electricity generated from coal and gas.

  Increasing the amount of electricity from clean, renewable energy sources like solar and wind.

• Plant more trees through reforestation and afforestation.
• Use different stock feeds can help to reduce farming's contribution to climate change.

  Saving water reduces carbon pollution, too. That's because it takes a lot of energy to pump, heat, and treat your water.

  Promoting public transportation, carpooling, but also electric and hydrogen mobility, can definitely help reduce CO2 emissions and thus fight global warming.

• Responsible consumption & recycling.

  Adopting responsible consumption habits is crucial, be it regarding food (particularly meat), clothing, cosmetics or cleaning products. Last but not least, recycling is an absolute necessity for dealing with waste.
